Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Esso. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Estimating Prices and Providing Advice: You will be required to estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates to customers. Additionally, you will provide advice about merchandise to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Greeting Customers and Discussing Merchandise: You will greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease.
  • Preparing Merchandise and Maintaining Sales Records: You will prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease and maintain sales records for inventory control.
  • Assisting in Display of Merchandise: You will assist in the display of merchandise to ensure that it is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: You will be required to perform repetitive tasks such as processing transactions and maintaining sales records.
Personal Suitability:
  • Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Reliability: You must be reliable and able to maintain a high level of accuracy when processing transactions and maintaining sales records.
  • Organized: You must be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
