Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at YOUTH STEM ACADEMY. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
- Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements
- Collect and screen applicants
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
- Recruit and hire staff
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 hours per week
