Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse II to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care and support to individuals with complex mental health, behavioral, and medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and breathing treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas
• Experience working with individuals with complex mental health, behavioral, and medical needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• CPR certification and ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and TIPS
