Job Summary:
Sandy Lane Automotive Services West Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units using advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Adjust, Repair, or Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to manufacturer's specifications.
- Provide Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions.
- Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, reliable, team player, and punctual.
