Head Pastry Specialist

As a Head Pastry Specialist at Grounds for Coffee, you will be responsible for leading our pastry team to create delicious baked goods that exceed our customers' expectations. Your expertise in preparing dough, batters, and icings will ensure that our pastry offerings are consistent in quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory pastries, including bread, rolls, muffins, and cakes
- Train and supervise pastry team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the bakery
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a pastry or bakery role
- Proven leadership and training skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Certification in food safety and sanitation
