Job Title: Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our expanding Financial Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to our clients in the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and tax accounting.
  • Manage risk for clients and the firm, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digitally-enabled business tax services.
  • Recruit and develop junior staff members, providing mentorship and training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation and working towards or completion of Masters of Tax or CPA In-depth Tax Program.
  • 8+ years of experience in Public Accounting, preferably in a tax-focused role.
  • Strong technical skills in tax preparation and developing tax focus areas.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and technical aspects of tax compliance and accounting.
  • Experience with international tax matters and tax review.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
