About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Avalon Translink. As an integral part of our support staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and establish efficient office procedures and routines to maximize productivity.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for management and staff.
  • Respond to incoming calls and messages in a professional manner.
  • Field electronic inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
  • Source and procure office supplies, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Set up and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems, ensuring ease of access for team members.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
Support Services
  • We offer mentorship and coaching opportunities for individuals with disabilities, aiming to foster inclusivity within our organization.
  • In addition, we assist newcomers and refugees with settling into their new environment, addressing needs such as housing, transportation, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • We also actively recruit individuals displaced by conflict or natural disasters, providing them with opportunities to reintegrate into society.
  • Our support extends to recognizing foreign credentials, ensuring that all individuals have equal opportunities for growth and development.
Benefits
  • As a valued member of our team, you will be offered a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
  • Permanent full-time position, working 30-44 hours per week.
