Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Assisting with medication administration and documentation
  • Participating in care planning and implementation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal resident outcomes


Requirements:


  • Valid Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and adult abuse registry check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move residents with mobility impairments
