Salary Range
$41.42-$55.91 per hour
About the Role
As a Nurse Clinician with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a fast-paced primary care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients and families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Two years recent experience in a primary care setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client-centered care model
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide emotional support to patients and families
