Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring that every stay is memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account the unique needs of each group.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the surrounding area.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures at all times, prioritizing the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues.
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and being able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company. This is a seasonal position, working 30-40 hours per week, with the potential for longer hours during peak seasons.
