Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at A&W, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service. The successful candidate will lead a team of staff, maintaining work schedules, training employees in job duties and procedures, and addressing customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines;
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff preparing and portioning food, providing guidance and support as needed;
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence;
  • Evaluate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, optimizing inventory and minimizing waste;
  • Maintain high-quality standards for food and service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly;
  • Collect and analyze data on sales, stock, repairs, and wastage, submitting accurate reports and recommendations;
  • Cultivate knowledge of A&W's culinary genres, adapting menus to meet customer preferences;
  • Develop and implement work schedules, balancing employee workload and meeting business demands;
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role;
  • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate employees, and maintain high performance standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction;
  • Able to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and quality control;
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company;
