Job Summary:

The Visual Merchandising Team Outfitter is responsible for executing visual merchandising plans, planograms, and flyer/ad sets on the sales floor under the direction of the Assistant General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, floor moves, mannequin dressing, and prep and setup of merchandise for ads.
  • Perform resets for assigned departments when required.
  • Assist with merchandise purges when assigned.
  • Perform replenishment tasks across departments including filling, folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, hanging, and locating items.
  • Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the Sales floor during store open hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years' experience in merchandising is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered with hiring preference given to those with at least six months of merchandising experience.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Ability to use good judgment and logic.
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
  • Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset.
