Job Description

Pason is seeking a Drilling Optimization Engineer to join our team. This role involves working with diverse stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze client data to provide technical recommendations and insights.
  • Create Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to inform end-users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop drilling automation and KPI technology.
Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Licensed as an EIT or P.Eng with APEGA, or able to obtain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with BI Software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Directional Drilling principles.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Splunk, Python, and Enverus DrillingInfo.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
