Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Project Lead with a proven track record in managing large-scale transportation infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have experience working with municipal transportation clients, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple transportation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivering high-quality results
  • Mentor and lead project managers and engineers to develop their skills and expertise
  • Develop and implement business development strategies for relevant clients, including creating capture plans and enhancing client relationships
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and bridges
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and design staff to produce high-quality project deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and leadership in the delivery of highway, road, and bridge projects

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Ontario Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required (or eligible)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience
  • Experience working with Eastern Ontario municipal transportation clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • French language proficiency an asset
  • Proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
