About the Role

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly experienced and influential leader to fill the position of Executive Director, Disability Services North. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading complex client-facing programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight for service delivery of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) and Family Supports for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) programs across the North Zone.
  • Ensure consistency of program service delivery in a client-centric service model that includes contracted agencies and service providers.
  • Liaise with other Disability Services Executive Directors to support provincial consistency of program delivery and policy.
  • Provide strategic advice and direction for service delivery and support Seniors, Community and Social Services in the development and achievement of operational business plans and mandates.
Requirements
  • Extensive senior management experience in disability services, including demonstrated expertise in leading complex client-facing programs and services.
  • Experience in managing contracted services, program initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, program/policy/financial quality assurance, and empowering high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of disability program service delivery is required.
