Duties and Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant at Dusty Property Management - Handyman Services, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team and directing daily operations. Your primary duties will include coordinating the team's work, ensuring efficient communication, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for supervising other workers, training staff, and evaluating daily operations. Additionally, you will be in charge of opening and distributing mail, planning and controlling budget and expenditures, and overseeing the preparation of reports.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking skills, and excellent oral and written communication
Work Environment

The work environment will be in a construction setting. You will be required to travel and work under pressure, with a large workload and minimal supervision. You will also be expected to be flexible and adaptable, with a strong ability to multitask and manage your time effectively.

Computer and Technology Requirements
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, project management software, and electronic scheduler
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology
