Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at Roop Beauty Bar. As a Hairstylist Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting and styling hair, as well as providing other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with 30 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

You will be working in a salon setting where you will be exposed to various hair textures and styles. Our salon offers a competitive salary package with opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in the hair industry

Additionally, you must be able to:

  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
Work Environment

As a Hairstylist Professional, you will be working in a fast-paced salon environment with repetitive tasks. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have good hand-eye coordination.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package including:

  • An estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000 based on location and experience
