Job Summary

This permanent, English-speaking position requires approximately 30-44 hours of work per week. A secondary school graduation certificate is mandatory, while experience is considered an asset. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to cleaning, maintenance, and repair in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from common areas.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers on a regular basis to prevent litter and odors.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a sparkling clean appearance.
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems to prevent equipment failure.
  • Advertise vacancy and balance rent roll to optimize property occupancy.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance when necessary.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances to prevent breakdowns.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants to showcase our properties' amenities.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance of our properties.
  • Tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Work with minimal supervision to exercise independence and initiative.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months to ensure pedestrian safety.
Estimated Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
