Opportunity Overview

Aecon is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support the daily activities of our job site in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Track and record attendance of site personnel, board allowance, and vehicle allowance.
  • Handle invoices for distribution to appropriate departments for approval.
  • Establish accounts with local suppliers for miscellaneous site items.
  • Assist with project billing and coordinate job packages, including locates, permits, and materials.
  • Ensure completion of accident reports and maintain an organized filing system.
  • Meet and greet visitors in a positive and friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience as a Project Administrator in a construction industry.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with poise and confidence.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, handling various job responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
