About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Partner to join our team at Travelers. As a Learning Partner, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing learning solutions that support our short- and long-term business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough learning needs analysis to determine the scope and required resources based on business needs.
  2. Gather and synthesize information and data to identify recommendations for learning solutions that align with our business objectives.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop objective statements, understand personas, intended outcomes, processes, and systems, and measurements for supported line of business, program, or function.
  4. Maintain consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency across Travelers.
  5. Support and inform curriculum development, which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and assist with planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure timely delivery, within scope, and within budget.
  7. Leverage change management methodologies, processes, and tools to create strategies that support adoption of changes.
  8. Write business processes and procedures utilizing knowledge of business/product-specific methodologies and tools.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Four years of experience in a respective business operation or other learning and development environment.
  3. Commercial Underwriting experience is a plus.
  4. Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data using a variety of tools.
  5. Experience with writing and developing learning resources.
  6. Awareness of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to assist with implementation of those technologies.
  7. General knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry.
  8. Demonstrated project management skills.
  9. Ability to influence and collaborate with others.
  10. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
