Visionary Catering is a dynamic and fast-paced food service provider seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptional individual who can lead our food service team with integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, with a proven track record of ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and managing staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure seamless operations;
- Train and mentor staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge;
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and employee performance;
- Monitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and overall financial performance;
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty;
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to negotiate favorable terms and improve service delivery;
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives, develop new menu items, and stay up-to-date with industry trends;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies;
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the food industry;
- Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other relevant technologies;
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
