We are currently seeking highly professional, experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to work in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Cornwall area.

Job Description
As a Lead Healthcare Professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN. You will utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care delivery in the assigned home area(s).
You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accessible admission for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services. Additionally, you will facilitate resident transfers and discharges in a safe and timely manner.
In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario;
- The ability to work with individuals with infectious diseases;
- A BLS Certificate;
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification;
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV); proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year; as well as Hepatitis B;
- A current Vulnerable Sector Police Check;
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- Reliability in working flexible shift times, ranging from 8 to 12 hours in length;
- The ability to 'float' between units within a hospital based on facility need;
- Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus travel compensation and benefits package.
