About the Role

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, managing data, and coordinating with the team to maintain efficiency and accuracy. They will identify and resolve quality issues, ensure compliance with standard processes, and supervise and discipline crew as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of incoming ingredients, reporting damages and quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy storage area and warehouse, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure strong compliance with standard processes.
  • Supervise and discipline crew as required, leading by example through training, motivating, and coaching.
  • Ensure smooth operation of warehouse systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Implement corrective measures and resolve warehouse process gaps.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data to generate established KPIs.
  • Develop employees through coaching and providing insightful feedback, documenting progress and ensuring associates are cross-trained for adequate coverage.
  • Manage company software and databases to execute warehouse processes and documentation.
  • Use forklift safely, complying with Company Health and Safety Policy, and oversee daily MHE checks.
  • Support warehouse projects, system implementations, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on various projects.
  • Use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed, reporting workplace hazards and dangers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or related management work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
  • Experience driving narrow aisle reach truck and sit-down forklift.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude, with experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Effective collaboration, empowering and enabling others to share ideas, raise awareness, and deliver solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, prioritizing and meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and video conferencing.
  • Innovative thinking, finding creative and efficient solutions to problems.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and assertive, thinking beyond the scope of assignments.
