Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained to handle customer inquiries and sales.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is always fully stocked.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help the store manager make informed decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored and displayed.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail or liquor store environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of employees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions as needed.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
