Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Seaville Transport Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and training workers in duties and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse performance and productivity
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to employees
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality results
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure seamless supply chain management
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to apply accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
  • Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives
