Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Care Specialist to join our team at the University Health Network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual work-ups, including history, medications, vision, corneal pachymetry, and other relevant tests.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing for clinics and helping the administrative team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a high school diploma and an additional 1-year program in a general sciences field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in a related field.
- Experience working in a hospital environment is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
