The Zamboni Operator will be responsible for assisting the supervisor in all activities related to the disposal of materials and the maintenance of the building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispose of plastic, cardboard, and materials in a safe and orderly manner;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the floors and the building;
  • Support other shifts when required;
  • Maintain an efficient, clean, and safe working environment in accordance with the client, FedEx Supply Chain, and CSST standards;
  • Complete various monitoring and control reports when required;
  • Perform any other tasks and responsibilities entrusted by management;

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalence;
  • Work experience in an industrial environment;
  • Knowledge of the WHMIS program (management of hazardous materials);
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment;
  • Special attention to detail and cleanliness;
  • Ability to maintain harmonious relationships with co-workers;
  • Great sense of customer service;
  • Bilingualism Oral and written, an asset;
  • Ability to work standing for long periods;
  • Recognized certification for rolling and motorized equipment, an asset;
  • Warehouse environment. May be exposed to variable temperature conditions;
  • Must be able to work at heights (15 meters);

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide;
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;

  • Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;
