Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to join our team at SNDL Inc. As Senior Director, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, you will report directly to the SVP Corporate FP&A and Treasurer. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating operational and management reporting, developing annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks to ensure delivery of financial commitments. You will analyze business results, providing strategic insights to senior management, while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve performance and foster a fact-based decision-making culture.

This role requires efficient process design and implementation, driving quality and accuracy in financial planning and analysis. You will prepare forecast and annual plans presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors, as well as perform variance analysis of actuals to forecast and budget, investigating material discrepancies and understanding key business drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business results and provide strategic insights to senior management
  • Coordinate operational and management reporting

  • Identify opportunities and risks to ensure delivery of financial commitments
  • Design and implement efficient processes for financial planning and analysis
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial and P&L management
  • Strong FP&A background
  • Experience with planning and forecasting models and tools
  • Reliable and capable of managing significant amounts of information and data with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in accounting and corporate finance concepts
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of management

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
