Senior Corporate Tax Manager

At Bank of Montreal, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance and accounting group, you will be responsible for leading the execution of tax accounting, reporting, and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax-related technical and accounting solutions and tax reporting advice.
- Manage audits, prepare responses to queries about the Bank's position on resolving issues and proposed adjustments received from tax authorities.
- Provide input into the planning and implementation of tax accounting, reporting, and compliance programs/processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect and provide tax information for related accounting entries.
- Monitor compliance with tax policies, procedures, and controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Accounting designation required.
- Working knowledge in the application of corporate taxes for the assigned jurisdiction(s)/portfolio.
- Working knowledge in the application of tax accounting concepts.
- Working knowledge of specialized tax return software.
BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
