We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team at Watson Enterprises Inc. in a permanent position. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials or business services. This role requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
  • Consult with suppliers.
  • Review quotations.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Establish delivery schedules.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Provide customer service.

This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload, so you must be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.

Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
