Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at the Greater Victoria School District #61. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining the district's facilities and ensuring that our schools are safe and functional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the district's facilities are in good working condition.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Work effectively with other tradespeople and district staff to ensure seamless maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Certificate of Apprenticeship in plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid BC driver's license.
  • Four or more years of experience in similar duties.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
