Health Program Manager

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting environmental health surveillance, research, partnerships, development of healthy public policy, information management, and data management relating to the Ontario Public Health Standards – Healthy Environments Program Standard and applicable protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support environmental health surveillance, research, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement healthy public policy initiatives.
- Manage information and data related to environmental health.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote healthy environments.
- Apply evidence-informed practice to influence healthy public policy and prevent or reduce the burden of illness from health hazards in the environment.
- University degree in Environment Health, Public Health, Environmental Studies, or a similar field.
- Experience in project management in the environmental health field.
- Demonstrated experience in research methodologies and the collection and interpretation of health-related data.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in partnership building and community engagement.
- Demonstrated use of evidence-informed practice.
