Pain Management Specialist for Burnaby Clinic

Changepain Clinic is a leading interdisciplinary Pain Centre specializing in personalized whole-person pain and rehab care. We utilize advanced neuroscience-based therapies, and our highly experienced team of Doctors and Allied Health practitioners are passionate about helping people optimize brain and body performance, functional recovery, well-being, and vitality.
Salary$300,000 - $400,000 per year (estimated), depending on practice make-up and experience.
We have a mixed funding model, accepting MSP, private pay, medicolegal, and ICBC/WorkSafeBC. You can customize your practice within various individual and group medical services.
Job DescriptionThis position offers the opportunity to work as an Interventional Pain Physician in a dynamic environment. Our office utilizes ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance, and we are an active facility linked with University of British Columbia (UBC).
- As an Interventional Pain Physician, you will perform a variety of procedures, including Trigger Point Injections, Nerve Blocks, Radiofrequency Lesioning, Cryoablation, Prolotherapy, Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, Ketamine and Lidocaine infusions.
- You will also oversee fellows and infusion therapy during procedure days, working closely with a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) for in-room support.
Your office days will be procedure-heavy, with up to four patients per hour. You can work from home for follow-ups and consults and make your own hours on those days.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- An active practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons and be in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 days of interventional pain management and consults per week.
- Experience with advanced procedures, such as ultrasound-guided procedures and fluoroscopy suite operations.
