Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, providing a legendary experience for every customer.
  • Transaction Processing: Use Point-Of-Sale and Inventory (SAP) computer systems to accurately and quickly complete customer transactions, following all policies and procedures.
  • Payment Processing: Process customer payment using debit, credit card, gift cards, and cash.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
  • Asset Protection: Assist asset protection in following all procedures and policies, including checking inside products, checking for price switches, removing and retaining security devices.
  • Store Operations: Perform opening and closing duties, including emptying trash, stocking bags and supplies, dusting and wiping counters, and organizing drawer supplies.
  • Team Support: Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Requirements:

  • Experience: One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to provide superior customer service, use good judgment and logic, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops' products and services is an asset.
