Job Summary

An opportunity exists in our Markham or Mississauga offices for a Senior Land Development Engineer /Project Manager. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional development projects varying in status from concept through to construction, as well as pursuing business development activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating residential, commercial, industrial and institutional development projects from concept to construction;

  • Pursuing business development opportunities and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders;

  • Leveraging technical expertise to lead project teams and provide guidance on land development projects;

  • Overseeing project budgets, timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery;

  • Mentoring and supervising junior engineers and staff members;

  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders;

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering;

  • 10 years' experience in land development engineering;

  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering design principles and practices;

  • Strong leadership, business development, time management, communication and team building skills;

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Proficiency in software applications relevant to land development engineering.

Estimated Salary: $240,000 - $300,000 per annum
