About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at OEB Breakfast CO North Vancouver. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies to maintain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
