Job Title: Senior Quality Control Specialist

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Florenceville Potato Production in Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, with experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. You should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.

You will be responsible for conducting regular audits of production processes, reviewing product specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality-related issues.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures, as well as participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence in our operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., food science, chemistry, or a related discipline)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
