Caring Support Specialist for Elderly and Disabled Individuals

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caring Support Specialist to join our team at Cohen Family. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position requiring 1-2 years of experience in a similar field. You will be working closely with clients, assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering therapeutic diets and menus
- Shop for food and household supplies, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid First Aid Certificate essential
- Punctuality, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills necessary
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy:
- A competitive $45,000 - $55,000 per year salary, commensurate with experience

- Optional accommodation available on a live-in basis (Note: this is not a condition of employment)
This role requires working in various settings, including clients' homes and employer's residences. You must be comfortable with standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Overtime may be required.
