  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Order merchandise and maintain an adequate inventory level to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that it is accurately recorded and easily accessible.

Requirements:

  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
  • Organized and able to multitask to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
