Job Description for Multi-Cultural Menu Planner

Pampanga Restaurant & Banquet Hall is seeking a skilled Multi-Cultural Menu Planner to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase a variety of ethnic cuisines, including Filipino dishes.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Facility Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Asset Languages: Tagalog.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Tasks: Plan menus, prepare and cook meals, inspect kitchens, train staff, maintain inventory, and clean kitchen areas.
