Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS & Reporting Administrator to join our team at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our HRIS system, as well as providing expert technical guidance to HR staff and other users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to HR staff and other users, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Advisor to optimize HRIS operations and services, including the development of streamlined processes.
  • Participate in HRIS troubleshooting, configurations, enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementations.
  • Develop and maintain complex data extracts, statistics, metrics, costing, and other reports to address business needs.
  • Maintain customer standards and practices, providing a high level of customer response and technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in business systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HRIS administration, including system administration and data analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of HRIS concepts, practices, standards, and capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and provide technical guidance.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including data analysis and report writing.
