Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

New-Way Trucking Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced truck driver to drive our fleet of trucks across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing emergency roadside repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Attention to detail
  • Overtime required
  • Physically demanding

  • Hardworking
Work Environment:

This is an on the road job with a permanent position. The working hours are 45 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
