About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to maintain a fast-paced and efficient environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding atmosphere.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
What We Offer
  • Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week.
