Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Coordinator to join our team at the Sherbrooke Community Centre in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, organizing, validating, and delivering programs to enhance the holistic care of clients/patients/residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of clients/patients/residents
  • Plan and organize events, activities, and services to promote holistic care
  • Validate and deliver programs to ensure their effectiveness and quality
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Therapeutic Recreation diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $27,990 to $30,000 per year (3-step range), Pay Band 13

This is a part-time temporary position with 11 shifts of 5.5 hours and 19 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks. The estimated salary for this role is $30,000 per year.
