Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Morning Glory Montessori Children's Centre Inc. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations
  • Engage children in activities that foster their growth and development
  • Prepare snacks and ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check and immunization records
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre setting, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
