Accounting Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Administrator to join our Finance Department at Senior Persons Living Connected. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable entries in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with department guidelines.
  • Manage accounts payable modules in our accounting database, resolving vendor inquiries as required.
  • Collect client payments, ensuring security and accuracy, and process weekly/monthly cheque runs.
  • Maintain donation databases and issue tax receipts.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Two to three years of full-cycle accounting experience or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as ACCPAC, Great Plains, or QuickBooks software.
  • Ability to work independently on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
