About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a skilled Urban Planner to join our dynamic placemaking team in Vancouver. As an Urban Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cities and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a wide range of projects, from site-specific feasibility studies to community policy initiatives, TOD projects, master plans, and development approvals.
  • Lead and support stakeholder engagement for placemaking projects, defining outreach strategies and drafting engagement/communication plans.
  • Plan, manage, and facilitate physical and online engagement processes.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our Indigenous Engagement practice.
  • Network and build relationships with current and prospective clients and other strategic contacts.
  • Represent our practice/projects at conferences or other events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-10 years of experience in planning, urban design, or applied professions.
  • Eligible for Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation.
  • An accredited degree in Urban Planning; a master's degree is an asset.
  • IAP2 certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with provincial planning legislation and the development approval process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What We Offer

Arcadis offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience, education, and location. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with colleagues worldwide.
