About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a key member of our food preparation and service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and cook food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, to order.
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
