About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Chamco Enterprises Ltd. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in culinary arts and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's vision.
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are of high quality and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, urban area, rural area, hotel, motel, or resort.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
