About the Role

Circle K is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a weekly and periodic basis, providing insights into our company's financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of our annual business plan, including uploading data to PDI and Longview.
  • Conduct quarterly analysis for corporate stakeholders, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Support the production of financial analyses as needed by Directors of Operations and Business Planning.
  • Develop and maintain accurate gas reporting systems, working closely with Laval fuel accounting to optimize volume and margin.
  • Prepare internal and external capital reports, ensuring compliance with Statistics Canada regulations and corporate accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including database functions, pivot tables, and large database management.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting software and reporting tools, particularly PDI and Longview.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including fixed assets, lease accounting, and fuel accounting.
  • Excellent organizational and business acumen, with knowledge of various organizational levels and accounting systems.
  • A firm grasp of analytical tools and a willingness to develop new tools as needed.
